Logo Reveal: Knifty Knittings
I was so excited when Destiny from Knifty Knittings reached out about a rebrand for her knitting business. I have admired her beautiful work for years and it was a joy to collaborate on creating a new visual identity to represent her business!
Destiny creates modern knitting patterns, kits, and video tutorials geared toward beginner knitters. She was interested in creating a clean, modern logo, with different layout options. She wanted to keep things feminine, with a soft color palette that included pink and mustard yellow. The word knifty makes me think 1960/70’s which led me to this retro, but still modern font. We landed on a design that translates effortlessly to block, horizontal, and circle lockups, with a playful yarn ball and knitting needles icon.

It’s been so fun seeing all the ways Destiny has been using her new branding suite, including updating her website, getting custom tape, tags, and a stamp for bags made up!
In an effort to foster a creatives community I’ve started a Facebook group called Art is a Record Creatives Community, the same name as this blog. I would love for you to join in the fun as we discuss creative living, projects, art, and life.
