As a child, most art in school is focused on two dimensions. When I discovered the freedoms of working in three dimensions my eyes were opened to a whole new world of opportunity. Creating things that exist in an often more interactive or tactile way, is more challenging and more rewarding to me. I also love the idea of creating practical things that are also beautiful and artful.
