Midland, MI

Aequorea is a large scale jellyfish sculpture. It was built out of a metal armature, concrete, and fabric, enveloping a 20”diameter fiberglass golf ball sculpture. It was finished with acrylic gel medium, spray foam, and spray paint, then poly-coated. It also features a small solar panel connected to LED lights, which allow it to glow purple at night. It was on outdoor display in downtown in front of the Chemical Bank on Main Street.
